Shane Armstrong

Shane Armstrong is an Applications Engineer involved in a variety of design and project delivery activities at VorTech Water Solutions. Shane has 5 years of experience of water and wastewater treatment plant design and on-site facilities operations.

Before VorTech, Shane primarily worked in consultancy roles providing assistance to contractors and other stakeholders on water/wastewater treatment upgrade projects. His experience has exposed him to all stages of project delivery from design to construction and handover. At VorTech, he has been closely involved with VPA performance testing, aeration energy audits, unit sizing and selection, mechanical design, on-site project delivery and management, system/process optimization and design/construction documentation preparation.

Shane holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from the University of Galway.
