VorTech were recently awarded SEAI’s Excellence in Energy Research and Innovation Award which was received for work conducted at NUI Galway. The award is aimed at organisations that have researched and developed innovative energy-related technologies, processes, or systems, which will contribute significantly to Ireland’s clean energy transition. The project involved a comprehensive research campaign of several aeration technologies, including the Vortex Powered Aeration (VPA) system, in industrial and municipal wastewater treatment plants across Ireland.
